The 2004 league season has being caputured on video and turned into a 30-minute feature film. The League documentary film “Children of the Dirt” debuted at the League benefit dinner to great acclaim.

Rick Sutton, organizer of the Sea Otter Classic said "My wife Gail and I entered the theater expecting to politely view (and suffer through) a homemade video. We were swept away by the wonderfully charming and entertaining "Children of Dirt". It's a keeper in our DVD collection."

HealthNet Pro Team captain, Michael Sayers said, “Children of the Dirt is such a great movie. It really shows kids, parents and coaches out competing and – more importantly – having fun doing it. This is high school sports in its purest form.”

Julia Violich owner of GravyWheels found the film an "Inspiring...very perspective look at adolescents and sports and the importance participation makes in their lives. A great insight look at the sport and why it touches people's lives in such a unique and long lasting way."
