riders last year

Spanning from San Luis Obispo to Arcata, we had 2,571 student-athletes registered to ride in the league last year, celebrating our 25th season with more riders than ever before.

We make every dollar count

Last year, we approved over 200 scholarship requests for student-athletes, coaches, and teams in need of help reducing the financial barrier to participation for the season.

Our Mission

We build strong body, mind, character and community through the inclusive sport of interscholastic cycling.

Our Programs

Camps

Our camps give student-athletes an opportunity to stay connected outside of the race season, making new friends and riding bikes along the way!

GRiT

GRiT stands for Girls Riding Together, and it’s part of a national movement to increase the percentage of female participants in the NorCal League.

Teen Trail Corps

Our Teen Trail Corps (TTC) connects teams with trail projects in their community, so they can help build and maintain the trails they love to use.

TTC

Make a Difference

$50 = 1 race

$170 = team kit

$250 = all races

$500 = all fees for a season

More ways to donate

Donor Advised Funds

Giving from your Donor advised fund is easy! Donor advised funds can be a tax-efficient alternative to donate. Work with your financial advisor to make sure they know that the NorCal League is your favorite charitable organization.

IRAs

If you’re 70 and a half years or older, you can take advantage of Qualified Charitable Distributions, which are excluded from your Adjusted Gross Income. So you receive the tax benefit even if you take the standard deduction rather than itemizing.

Trusts

Another easy and tax-effective way to donate is through a family trust. We’re set up to receive checks and make sure they go to student-athletes and/or coaches who need financial support.
